Terms and Conditions
Please take a moment to read this document carefully — it contains important information about working with me, Alexandra Parkhomenko, as your psychologist.
You are welcome to ask any questions about my education, experience, professional supervision, or personal perspectives on areas that relate to our work together.
By booking a consultation, you are entering into an agreement with me (hereinafter referred to as the "Consultant") under the following Terms and Conditions.
These Terms apply to all services and products offered through the website https://www.alexandra-therapy.com.
1. Key Definitions

Terms and Conditions – this document, published on https://www.alexandra-therapy.com (the "Website").

Acceptance – full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by the Client through payment for services.

Client – any individual who purchases services or products through the Website.

Consultant – Alexandra Parkhomenko.

2. Subject of the Agreement
The Consultant provides online psychological consultations, coaching sessions, webinars, and informational services, all subject to these Terms.
The services offered are not medical or clinical therapy.
The Client is responsible for reviewing the service descriptions on the Website before purchasing.
All content on the Website, including text and graphics, is owned by the Consultant and protected by copyright law.
No content from the Website, including but not limited to photographs, qualifications, certificates, written materials, branding elements, graphics or other intellectual property, may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, published or used without the prior written permission of the Consultant, except where permitted by applicable law.
3. Acceptance of Terms
Payment of services constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
By accepting, the Client agrees to all conditions outlined here. If you do not agree, you must refrain from purchasing services.
A binding agreement is formed once payment is made.
By purchasing services through the Website, the Client confirms that they are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement, and acknowledge and agree to the Privacy Policy, Legal Disclaimer and any other policies published on the Website and applicable to the services provided.
4. Responsibilities of Each Party
Consultant’s Responsibilities:

Deliver services as described and agreed.

Maintain professional standards and provide services to the best of their professional ability.

Maintain confidentiality, except where disclosure is required by law or where there is a serious risk of harm to the Client or others.
Consultant’s Rights:

Utilise the Client’s email address to send updates, newsletters or promotional material (with opt-out options).

Terminate services if the Client violates the agreement.

Create and retain professional notes, records and recordings relating to consultations where considered appropriate for professional, administrative, supervisory, safeguarding or record keeping purposes.

Use appropriate professional and technological tools to support documentation, administration and the provision of services.

Discuss aspects of a Client’s case within professional supervision or consultation processes while maintaining confidentiality and protecting the Client’s identity where reasonably possible.
Client’s Responsibilities:

Carefully read service descriptions and prices.

Provide accurate information when ordering services.
-
Not abuse, disparage or threaten the Consultant.
-
Make full prepayment before services are delivered.
-
Use any materials received for personal use only and not share them publicly.
-
Respect copyright and confidentiality terms.
-
Communicate any complaints about service quality within five working days after service delivery.
5. Service Delivery
Services are delivered through online sessions via Skype, Zoom, or other agreed platforms.
Standard session length: approximately 1 hour (+/- 5 minutes).
Frequency: typically once a week (negotiable individually).
Participation in webinars and online programmes is the Client’s responsibility.
If the Client is unable to attend a scheduled session, they must notify the Consultant at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, the full cost of the session will be charged.
If the Client is late, the session is shortened accordingly without a refund.
The Consultant does not provide emergency psychological, psychiatric, or medical services. If the Client is experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, immediate risk of harm to themselves or others, or requires urgent assistance, they should contact emergency services, NHS 111, their GP, local crisis services, or the appropriate emergency services in their country of residence.
6. Payment Terms

Services must be paid for at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.

Available payment methods are provided individually upon order.
Refunds may be requested:

For webinars or training sessions — no later than 3 days before the event.

For consultations — no later than 24 hours before the scheduled session.

For downloadable content — only before the link to access the content has been provided.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to alex.sandra.forclients@gmail.com.
The Client is responsible for any payment errors.
7. Personal Data and Confidentiality
The Client consents to the collection and processing of personal data, including full name, email address, phone number, consultation records, professional notes, recordings and related documentation where applicable, for the purposes of:

Providing services,

Record keeping and administration,

Sending project news (with opt-out option).
Consultation records, professional notes, recordings and related documentation may be created, retained and processed in accordance with these Terms and for legitimate professional, administrative, supervisory, safeguarding and record keeping purposes.
Personal data is handled in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
The Client may request the deletion or anonymisation of their personal data by emailing alex.sandra.forclients@gmail.com. Such requests will be considered in accordance with applicable legal, regulatory and professional obligations.
8. Dispute Resolution
The Consultant aims to prevent disputes by maintaining transparent communication.
If a complaint arises, it must be submitted in writing to alex.sandra.forclients@gmail.com within 5 working days after service delivery.
If disputes cannot be resolved informally, they will be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
9. Changes to the Terms
These Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time.
Clients are encouraged to review the Terms periodically.
Changes take effect immediately upon publication on the Website.
The Consultant reserves the right to refuse service to any Client at their sole discretion, with a refund for any unused sessions.
Clients may also terminate services at any time by notifying the Consultant.
10. Language Disclaimer
In the event of any discrepancies between translations of these Terms and Conditions and the original English version, the English version shall prevail.
