Therapy session
How a Consultation Works
Each consultation takes place online, via video call on whichever platform we agree on, at a pre-arranged date and time.
Sessions last for 1 hour and our first session will take the form of a friendly, open conversation where we explore your request and the direction of our work together.

How I Work
I use a synthesis of modern methods within a humanistic and client-centred approach.
Each session is tailored to your specific needs to achieve progress after every meeting.
I work only with evidence-based techniques.
Session Formats
I offer two types of work:
-
Consultation – A one-off session focused on a specific situation or issue. We explore the background, underlying causes and possible next steps.
-
Therapy – A longer process for those ready to go deeper and work on themselves seriously. On average, this requires around 10 sessions.
What Makes a Session Effective
-
A clear and specific aim is key to a focused and productive session. We will avoid generalisations — sometimes a broad topic needs to be split across several meetings.
-
Agree on the time with me and fill out a short questionnaire beforehand
-
Ensure good internet connection
-
Be in a quiet space where you won’t be disturbed
-
Full payment is required 24 hours in advance
Do you diagnose or prescribe?
No. I don’t diagnose, prescribe treatments, give advice, or judge.
My role is to guide you — through professional skills and experience — to new insights, which lead to new feelings, behaviours, and results.
How is this different from talking to a friend?
Supportive conversations with friends can be helpful — this is what we call informal therapy.
But a psychologist works professionally and with clear tools and without judgement, which is why the results are much more tangible.
That’s why psychologists also see their own psychologists — and why many successful people do too.
What I don’t work with:
I do not work with gambling, drug, or alcohol addiction.
Can I come to you if I don’t have a clear request yet?
Absolutely.
We all need acceptance, support and understanding — but not everyone has the chance to receive it from people around them.
These basic human needs can be safely met within therapy.
